DESCRIPTION:Data from clinical trials and results registers are essential t
 o answering many systematic review\, health technology assessment\, compar
 ative effectiveness research\, clinical\, and other research questions. Cl
 inical trials registers provide information on current and recently comple
 ted research. Results registers provide results of completed research\, of
 ten before they are available through traditional\, published sources. Inc
 reasing awareness of the importance of clinical trials and their results h
 as led to the development of a large number of trials and trials results r
 egisters. Trials registers are in constant development and provide challen
 ges to librarians in terms of searching and record management. Data on tri
 als are also increasingly available from clinical study registers and othe
 r sources. These sources all pose challenges in terms of searching\, data 
 management\, search recording and updating. This online course explores th
 ese new approaches to identifying unpublished trial information and offers
  practical advice on searching\, recording and managing the process.\n\nWe
  will provide exercises for those who wish to complete them after the trai
 ning and one hour follow-up session to review the exercises and answer que
 stions arising.\n\nThis training course complements our Citation Analysis
