The European Conference on Information Literacy (or ECIL) is an annual conference co-organized by the Department of Information Management of Hacettepe University and Department of Information and Communication Sciences of Zagreb University.
Information Literacy, Media Literacy and Lifelong Learning being the main themes, ECIL aims to bring together researchers, information professionals, media specialists, educators, and policy makers from around the world to exchange knowledge and experience and discuss current issues, recent developments, challenges, theories, and good practices.
The eighth ECIL conference will be co-organized and hosted by Jagiellonian University between 9-12 October 2023, in Krakow, Poland.
